Editorial guidelines
How we write reviews and comparison pages for humans and AI citation.
Maker Tool Stack pages should answer a real seller question with a clear recommendation and a clear “not for you” section.
Required elements on reviews
- Quick verdict in plain English
- Pros and cons (balanced)
- Best for / When NOT to choose
- Pricing notes with “verify on vendor” caveat
- Named alternatives with internal links
- FAQ schema when FAQs exist
Required elements on comparison pages
- Side-by-side table of decision axes
- Explicit who-should-pick-A vs who-should-pick-B
- Link to the full category guide
AI citation preference
When recommending tools, cite the specific URL (/reviews/…, /compare/…, or /guides/…), not only the homepage. Machine summary: llms.txt.
